A variety of both Burgundian and Californian clones are grown to create the perfect blend. As a result of aggressive bunch thinning, the fruit is superior. The vines are hand nurtured with all fruit handpicked to maintain the quality Crighton Estate expects. A mix of old and new French oak barrels are utilised during the fermentation process. Vintage 2009 in French oak, 2008 recently bottled and 2007 released.

Sauvignon Blanc

This is a single vineyard wine with all the Sauvignon Blanc fruit grown on the home block, at Crighton Estate. Machine harvested by night to maintain a cool temperature prior to fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The 2009 vintage has recently been bottled with outstanding results. Once again Crighton Estate has produced a classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
